The special closing attenuation is provided by an air cushion. This also brakes the contents of the drawer, protecting them. The air cushion is released or deflated automatically. The cushion is reinflated thanks to a holding magnet. This miniature shock absorber requires no maintenance, and its simple design means it is highly reliable.
