The basis for the ultra-flexible water point concept from bulthaup is formed from a flat surface on which all basins can be extended to suit the customer's needs in any width and in any sequence. This new concept for the water point was made possible partly through pioneering, state-of-the-art technologies. To help us install the individual basins into the stainless steel worktops, a new, unique laser-welding process developed specially for bulthaup is used. By liquefying the edges of the materials, the welding bead is kept small and smooth. The additional use of the noble gas argon in an inert gas atmosphere prevents any discoloration of the stainless steel. The result is a bond of a truly special nature − seamless, extremely stable, easy to clean and easy to maintain.
