Long before the first design drawing, all the aspects of an ergonomic, aesthetic, technical and production-related nature are already taken into account. In order to arrive at the perfect result, prototypes undergo extensive testing. Standards employed by bulthaup far exceed conventional industry standards. Conventional standards are not enough to produce a kitchen worthy of the bulthaup name. Only the finest materials are specially selected and processed with our ultra-precise tools. In our own laboratory, all materials are tested to ensure they maintain the bulthaup quality standard once they are installed all over the world. We build complete kitchens, for example, that are made to withstand 20 days in a climate chamber, enduring every level of humidity and temperature between -20° and 60° C. The end result is not an "off-the-shelf" solution, but rather an engineered product with a perfect technical character.
